How media is important in my life:
I think that media is very important in my life. I wouldn't be able to live without it I don't think anyone else would either. Media has an impact on everyone. Media is what keeps everyone up to date, everyone watches or listens to the media everyday, whether its television,radio or newspapers even magazines.
Pop culture to me..
Pop culture is in our everyday life.. trends of clothing(style), whats popular, cars, music. whats people listening to. Whats in the news, the gossip everyones talking about. I think pop culture connects everyone in different ways. People follow trends of celebrities on television. I like how we have cell phones now makes it easier to comunicate with people. The technology on blackberrys and iphones is as if its your own small computer. I like facebook and use it everyday so do millions of other people, easy to keep it touch with old friends. I dont like that it can cause drama i think thats dumb. Media isnt for just entertainment, it shows popular trends and updates us on whats going on. Gives us information that we may or may not want to know. I do use media for shopping i guess, like some commercials, im sure people see them and say "I want that" and go and buy it.
My top three:
Music: I dont think I could go a full day without listening to music. I always have my ipod with me if not my ipod my phone which has music on it. When im at home I always have music playing on my computer. I need music to get ready to. I usually sleep to music playing. I mostly only listen to country music, I think country music actually has a meaning. I can't really stand rap music anymore, all rap music sounds the same to me!
Television: I don't think I could go a full day without watching television either. I always watch t.v. when I am bored at home. T.v. also passes time away when I have nothing to do. Also keeps me up to date with what is going on. I am stuck on some shows like the O.C, True Blood, The Hills, Real World, mostly anything on MTV.
Film: I love watching movies, mostly horror movies! I like the fear and gory ones like Saw! I can watch any kind of movie. I like comedy movies and romantics too. I dont really like black and white movies.. I actually dont like them at all!
